Competitive
Oxford competes in the National Universities Padel League, the national league for university padel, with men's and women's teams.
The league
The National Universities Padel League (NUPL) runs regional conferences with men's and women's divisions through the academic year, ending with a national finals day in the spring. Universities field pairs in each division. Oxford plays in the South East conference, and its first league date of 2026/27 is Friday 13 November.
Squad trials
Trials are held in Michaelmas. They are free and open to every student, member or not. Selection is by standard, and players picked for the squad join Team.
Fixtures
Squad players represent the University on league days against the other universities in the conference. Dates and results are posted on Instagram.
Varsity
Oxford plays Cambridge in the varsity match. The 2027 match is provisionally on Friday 12 March, in London.
College competition
A college competition (cuppers) is planned for Trinity term, open to all members.
